Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Kaplan, LA, is dedicated to empowering low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy food habits and nutrition. Our program offers a range of services including access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for early growth and development, comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing diet and healthful lifestyles, and dedicated support for breastfeeding mothers. We also provide valuable referrals to additional health services to ensure holistic support. To participate, families are encouraged to schedule an appointment at our WIC clinic, where we welcome each applicant for assistance in fostering a healthier future for their children.
