Food for Families / Food for Seniors

In Kaplan, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to ensuring that eligible seniors have access to essential food assistance and nutritional education. Each month, we provide nutritious food boxes that include a variety of items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, American cheese, pasta, rice, and more, all aimed at promoting a healthy diet on a budget. Additionally, our program empowers seniors with valuable knowledge about nutrition through easy recipes and budgeting tips, helping them stretch their food dollars effectively.
