EarlySteps is dedicated to supporting families in Kaplan, LA, with infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who are facing developmental delays due to medical conditions or other challenges. Our mission is to enhance children's growth by providing tailored, critical services that address cognitive, motor, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive development needs. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including assistive technology, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and psychological services, all delivered in a child’s natural environment—be it at home, in childcare, or within the community. By focusing on improving parents' capabilities to foster their child's development, EarlySteps ensures that every child has the support they need to thrive. Families can easily access our services through referrals made by anyone to First Steps Referral and Consulting, setting in motion the eligibility determination process to connect children with the appropriate resources.
