MOVE! Weight Management Program

Based in Jennings, LA, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran utilizing VA facilities receives annual screenings for obesity, leading to personalized referrals to various treatment options tailored to individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of services including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides tools for weight management on the go. Additionally, Veterans facing ongoing challenges may access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring our program.
