The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Jeanerette, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to ensure families have access to vital nutrition by providing supplemental foods that are rich in essential nutrients necessary for growth and development. We also offer comprehensive nutrition education to empower families to make informed dietary choices, support breastfeeding mothers with valuable resources and encouragement, and connect families to additional health services as needed.
