Senior Services, based in Jeanerette, LA, is dedicated to empowering and supporting the elderly community across eight parishes, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our comprehensive programs are designed to enhance the quality of life for seniors through essential services such as congregate and home-delivered meals that ensure proper nutrition, elderly protective services, and light housekeeping assistance. We offer in-home respite services for caregivers, legal assistance to safeguard the rights of older adults, and advocacy through our ombudsman program in long-term care facilities. Our commitment to social well-being is evident in our recreational activities, wellness programs focused on health education and exercise, and regular check-in calls to provide companionship. Additionally, we facilitate transportation to senior centers and vital medical appointments, fostering independence and connection.
