Located in Jeanerette, LA, AcadianaCares is dedicated to uplifting the most vulnerable in our community, focusing on those affected by HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, poverty, and homelessness. Our mission encompasses providing essential services and support, including substance abuse treatment, housing assistance, and individualized case management, all aimed at fostering healthier lives. Central to our efforts is our partnership with Second Harvest, which enables us to operate a food bank that offers emergency food and vital nutrition assistance to our clients. We recognize the critical role that good nutrition plays in recovery and overall health, especially for individuals facing the challenges of HIV/AIDS and homelessness.
