Located in Jeanerette, LA, EarlySteps is dedicated to supporting families with infants and toddlers aged birth to three years who may face developmental challenges due to medical conditions or delays. We focus on empowering families by providing essential services tailored to enhance each child's growth in their natural environment, whether at home, in child care, or community settings. Our comprehensive programs include assistive technology, audiology, health and nutrition services, occupational and physical therapy, special instruction, and more, all aimed at enriching cognitive, motor, vision, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive development. With the collaboration of federal and state Medicaid resources, we ensure that every child has access to the services they need. Referrals for EarlySteps can be made by anyone, and our team at First Steps Referral and Consulting will assist families through the eligibility determination process.
