Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

At Teche Action Board, Inc. in Houma, LA, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women, infants, and children through our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. We provide essential food assistance and nutrition education tailored for families and new mothers, ensuring they receive the support they need for healthy growth and development. Our services include access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and valuable referrals to medical and community resources. If you’re enrolled in Louisiana Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, LA CHIP, or LA MOMS, you likely qualify for WIC. Additionally, caregivers of children aged five and under are welcome to apply. We’re here to empower families with the resources they need to thrive.
