Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Houma, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. Through our services, we provide access to supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients, nutrition education aimed at fostering healthier eating habits, and invaluable support for breastfeeding. We also offer referrals to additional health services to ensure comprehensive care. If you are a participant in Louisiana Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, LA CHIP, or LA MOMS, you're likely eligible for WIC. We warmly welcome caregivers of children under five to reach out and benefit from our supportive resources designed to promote a healthier future for families in our community.
