In Haughton, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education, offer supplemental foods, promote breastfeeding, and connect participants with vital healthcare resources. WIC is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of families in our community, ensuring that every woman and child has the support they need for a healthy start.
