Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Haughton, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance nutrition through the provision of nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for growth and development. We also offer valuable nutrition education aimed at improving dietary choices and health practices. In addition, WIC provides support and resources for breastfeeding mothers and facilitates referrals for necessary health services. We invite families to bring all applicants to our clinic on the scheduled appointment date to access these vital programs.
