Women, Infants & Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants & Children Program (WIC) in Harvey, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families through access to supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients that support growth and development, along with comprehensive nutrition education aimed at improving dietary choices and health outcomes. We also provide valuable information and encouragement for breastfeeding mothers, and connect families with additional health services to ensure their overall well-being.
