Women, Infants, & Children Program

The Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Program in Harvey, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and young children under the age of five. Through our Special Supplemental Nutrition Program, we offer essential food assistance, including nutritious options like infant formula, cereals, low-sugar adult cereals, milk, cheese, juice, eggs, whole grains, and vouchers for fresh produce, ensuring families receive the nutrition they need. In addition to vital food resources, WIC provides valuable nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, and support while connecting families to additional health and social services.
