Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

Located in Hammond, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital nutrition education, access to supplemental food assistance, and comprehensive breastfeeding support, along with essential referrals for health care services. By addressing the nutritional needs of families in our community, WIC strives to improve health outcomes and promote a brighter future for the youngest members of our community.
