Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

Located in Hammond, LA, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy eating and nutrition through comprehensive services that include nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential health care resources. WIC is committed to empowering families to thrive by fostering strong, healthy foundations for children during their critical early years.
