Food for Families and Food for Seniors in Hammond, LA, is dedicated to ensuring that eligible seniors receive vital food assistance through our monthly nutritional food box program. Operated by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, we strive not only to provide emergency food but also to enrich the lives of seniors with essential nutrition education. Our thoughtfully curated monthly food boxes include a variety of healthy items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, American cheese, pasta, and shelf-stable milk, along with valuable resources on how to make nutritious meals and maximize food budgets.
