Women, Children, & Infant Program (WIC)

The Women, Children, & Infant Program (WIC) in Gretna, LA, is dedicated to supporting the health and nutrition of pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women as well as infants and children up to 5 years old. Our mission is to provide essential supplemental nutrition assistance that helps families thrive during critical early development stages. Eligible participants receive food benefits for up to a year, allowing them to access nutritious foods and nutrition education tailored to their unique needs. WIC not only promotes healthy eating habits but also fosters a supportive community for families to navigate their nutritional journeys together.
