Grant Program

The American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) in Gretna, LA, is dedicated to providing critical financial support to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer and to survivors who are within four years of remission. Our Grant Program is designed to alleviate some of the burdens by offering financial assistance for essential needs, including housing, living expenses, utilities, food, medical treatments, prescriptions, funeral costs, and transportation to medical appointments. Each request for assistance is evaluated individually, taking into account the available funds and the specific needs outlined in the Benevolence Request Application. When granted, assistance is paid directly to the service providers, ensuring that families receive the support they need in a timely manner.
