Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Greenwell Springs, LA, is dedicated to nurturing the growth and wellbeing of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education, the provision of supplemental foods, and breastfeeding promotion and support. We understand the importance of proper nutrition during these crucial stages of life and offer referrals for healthcare services to create a supportive environment for families. Through our efforts, we aim to empower caregivers to ensure their children's health while promoting overall community wellbeing.
