MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Gonzales, LA, is dedicated to empowering Veterans on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. Our mission focuses on addressing obesity and promoting overall health by annually screening Veterans receiving care at VA facilities and connecting them with tailored weight management services. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist with self-managed weight loss. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need extra help after utilizing the MOVE! resources.
