In Gonzales, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission focuses on providing access to nutritious supplemental foods that are vital for growth and development, along with comprehensive nutrition education to enhance dietary choices and health habits. We also offer invaluable support and guidance for breastfeeding mothers and connect families to additional health services, ensuring a strong foundation for both mothers and their children.
