In Ferriday, LA, the Breastfeeding Support Group is dedicated to fostering a warm and welcoming environment where expectant, new, and seasoned mothers can connect and share invaluable experiences regarding breastfeeding. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings emphasize peer-to-peer support and mutual encouragement, offering a friendly space for mothers to discuss key topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, bringing baby home, navigating challenges, and nutrition and weaning strategies. While in-person gatherings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to providing essential support and resources, ensuring every mother feels empowered and informed throughout her breastfeeding journey.
