Diabetes HELP is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for Louisiana Medicaid recipients living with diabetes in Eunice, LA. Our program offers comprehensive diabetes self-management education designed to empower participants through quality instruction and supportive discussions in small group settings. Collaborating closely with pharmacists, physicians, and healthcare professionals, we provide individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage their condition. Our educational sessions cover vital topics including nutrition, coping strategies, physical activity, and understanding the signs of altered blood sugar. While supplemental to routine physician care, our focus on patient education ensures that participants can confidently navigate their diabetes. Rooted in the principles established by the Diabetes Initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Diabetes HELP is committed to fostering self-management and improving the well-being of our community.
