In Duson, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food choices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to ensure that these vulnerable groups receive essential supplemental foods rich in nutrients vital for growth and development. We offer nutrition education to enhance dietary habits, provide valuable information and support for breastfeeding, and connect families with additional health services.
