The American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) stands as a steadfast ally for families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer in Duson, LA. Our Grant Program is dedicated to offering critical financial support to families of children diagnosed with cancer and to cancer survivors within four years of remission. We understand the immense burdens that can accompany a cancer diagnosis, which is why we provide assistance for essential needs such as housing, living expenses, utilities, food, medical treatments, prescriptions, transportation to medical appointments, and even lodging while visiting distant medical facilities. Requests for support are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that assistance is tailored to individual circumstances and based on the availability of funds. When approved, payments are made directly to service providers, allowing families to focus on what matters most—the health and well-being of their child.
