MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Coushatta, LA, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to achieve healthier lifestyles through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to provide tailored support that addresses the unique needs of each Veteran, offering annual screenings for obesity at VA facilities and referrals to various weight management options. Participants can benefit from group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which connects Veterans with clinicians in the comfort of their homes. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers convenient tools and resources. Additionally, we provide medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not found success through other means.
