Food for Families and Food for Seniors, a compassionate initiative of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors in Church Point, LA with essential food assistance. Each month, we provide carefully curated nutritional food boxes that not only include a variety of wholesome items such as canned meats, fresh fruits, vegetables, breakfast cereals, and dairy products but also emphasize the importance of balanced nutrition. Our program empowers seniors through educational resources, offering information on healthy eating habits, budget-friendly meal planning, and simple recipes that utilize the provided food commodities. We believe that every senior deserves access to nutritious food and the knowledge to make the most of it.
