Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in Chalmette, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors through essential food assistance and nutrition education. Each month, we provide seniors with nutritional food boxes filled with essential items such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, breakfast staples, and dairy products, ensuring they have access to balanced meals. Beyond food distributions, we empower our participants with valuable nutritional information, easy-to-follow recipes, and tips on making the most of their food resources.
