Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Broussard, LA, and surrounding areas, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion parishes. Our mission focuses on providing essential services such as congregate and home-delivered meals to ensure nutritional needs are met, elderly protective services for safeguarding vulnerable populations, and in-home respite care to support caregivers. We also offer legal assistance to navigate complex legal issues, and act as an ombudsman to uphold the rights and dignity of residents in long-term care facilities. Additionally, our transportation services facilitate access to senior centers and medical appointments, while recreational and wellness programs promote social interaction and overall health. Through personalized visits and check-in calls, we foster connections and provide comfort to older adults.
