Food for Families / Food for Seniors

In Broussard, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, an initiative by the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting seniors in need through our monthly nutritional food box program. Each food box is thoughtfully prepared to include essential staples such as canned meats, a variety of vegetables and fruits, breakfast cereals, cheese, and shelf-stable milk. Alongside providing emergency food assistance, we empower seniors with valuable nutrition education that covers everything from easy recipes using commodity foods to practical tips on managing food budgets and maintaining a healthy diet.
