MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission centers on annually screening every Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with appropriate weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer diverse support avenues, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, the TeleMOVE! system for in-home guidance, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-management. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
