Food for Families / Food for Seniors in Breaux Bridge, LA, is dedicated to supporting our senior community through essential food assistance programs. Operated by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, we provide eligible seniors with monthly nutritional food boxes that are carefully curated to promote healthy eating. Each food box includes a variety of nutritious items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, American cheese, shelf-stable milk, and other staple foods. Alongside the food distribution, we prioritize education by offering valuable information on nutrition, easy-to-follow recipes, and tips for maximizing food resources. Our mission is to ensure seniors not only receive emergency food support but also gain the knowledge to maintain a balanced diet and live healthily.
