Patches of Light, located in Breaux Bridge, LA, is dedicated to supporting families with children who are navigating the challenges of catastrophic health issues and financial distress. Our mission is to provide critical financial assistance, including help with utilities, housing costs, gas cards, and grocery cards, to alleviate some of the burdens these families face. We work closely with medical teams to maintain confidentiality and ensure that every application, which typically takes 2-3 weeks for review, is genuine and properly vetted. It’s important to note that applications must be submitted by hospital staff, as families cannot apply directly. To facilitate a smoother application process, we encourage confirmation emails to verify that submissions are received, helping us to assist families more efficiently during their times of need.
