Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Bossier City, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance nutrition and health by providing vital supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients necessary for growth and development. We offer comprehensive nutrition education that empowers families to make informed dietary choices, along with steadfast support and resources for breastfeeding mothers. Additionally, we assist with referrals to other critical health services to ensure holistic care for our community's most vulnerable members.
