Diabetes Education Program

At Our Lady of the Angels in Bogalusa, LA, our Diabetes Education Program empowers individuals to take charge of their diabetes through comprehensive education and support. Accredited by the American Diabetes Association, our program is tailored for everyone, from those newly diagnosed to those managing long-term diabetes, covering Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes, and Impaired Glucose Tolerance. Our compassionate team of certified diabetes educators, registered nurses, and dietitians work closely with participants to promote effective nutrition and exercise strategies that help manage diabetes and prevent complications. Enrollment requires a physician referral, and while insurance typically covers the program, co-pays and deductibles may apply.
