The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Bogalusa, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital services including access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for growth and development, comprehensive nutrition education to enhance dietary choices, valuable support and resources for breastfeeding mothers, and referrals to additional health services.
