Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to eligible seniors in Bogalusa, LA. Each month, we deliver nutritious food boxes filled with vital pantry staples, including canned meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and dairy products, ensuring seniors have access to wholesome meals. Alongside our emergency food distribution, we offer valuable nutrition education, sharing easy recipes and helpful tips on maximizing food budgets while maintaining a healthy diet. Our mission is to support the well-being of seniors in our community through reliable food resources and nutritional guidance, empowering them to lead healthier lives with dignity.
