Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Benton, LA, is dedicated to supporting individuals who are newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free, accessible program spans 12 months and is designed to empower participants through education on diabetes management. Available in both English and Spanish, the program includes six informative e-booklets tailored to meet each individual's needs, as well as a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Participants who provide their phone numbers can also join our engaging monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can consult with diabetes specialists, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that enhance their diabetes management journey.
