Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

Located in Belle Chasse, LA, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is designed to empower individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month learning experience. This program, available in both English and Spanish, includes six informative e-booklets that focus on essential diabetes management topics tailored to participants' individual needs. Each month, enrollees receive a helpful e-newsletter featuring seasonal tips, valuable resources, and updates about local community events. Participants have the opportunity to engage in a monthly Q&A series with experts from the American Diabetes Association, where they can submit diabetes-related questions, gain insights into the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that support their journey toward better health and well-being.
