Chloi Laborde-Lawrence, MED, NCC, PLPC, embodies the belief that 'the future depends on what you do today' as famously stated by Mahatma Gandhi. As a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, she brings considerable experience in supporting individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Chloi addresses a diverse range of issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem and identity concerns. Her goal is to empower her clients by equipping them with effective coping skills, fostering positive relationships, and promoting independence. She is dedicated to cultivating a non-judgmental and safe environment, ensuring that clients feel valued and respected as they embark on their journey toward wellbeing. Chloi utilizes a variety of engaging holistic counseling techniques, integrating play therapy, art therapy, sand tray methodologies, mindfulness practices, narrative therapy, and more into her sessions. As an empathic and supportive ally in her clients' treatment, she holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Louisiana State University and is a Board Certified Counselor. Furthermore, she proudly maintains memberships with the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), and the Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International Chi Sigma Iota.
