Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

Located in Baton Rouge, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years old. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support through nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and essential referrals for healthcare services. By prioritizing the nutritional needs of our community's youngest members and their mothers, WIC strives to create a healthier future for families in our region.
