Diabetes Management Program

The Ochsner Diabetes Management Program in Baton Rouge, LA, is dedicated to empowering individuals 18 and older living with type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes through comprehensive education and support. Accredited by the American Diabetes Association, our program features certified diabetes educators, including registered nurses and dietitians, who provide engaging Basic Diabetes Group Classes in an interactive five-hour session, complete with lunch. Each monthly class covers essential topics such as diabetes management, blood sugar monitoring, medication management, healthy eating, and setting achievable goals. We understand the challenges of living with diabetes and are here to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to lead a healthier life.
