Senior Food Assistance Program

In Bastrop, LA, the Senior Food Assistance Program, part of the Food Bank of NELA, is dedicated to supporting low-income seniors aged 60 and older by alleviating the burden of food insecurity. Each month, we provide supplemental food to help stretch limited budgets, supplying approximately 30 pounds of nutritious non-perishable items including canned goods, pasta, cereal, and snacks. Our goal is to ensure that every senior has access to vital food assistance, fostering dignity and care within our community.
