Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Baker, LA, is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits and ensure access to vital nutrition through supplemental foods rich in essential nutrients that support growth and development. WIC offers comprehensive nutrition education to enhance dietary choices, alongside valuable support and resources for breastfeeding mothers. Additionally, we provide referrals to other health services, ensuring that families receive the holistic support they need during these critical early years.
