The National Emergency Fund Disaster Aid (NEF) is dedicated to providing critical emergency assistance to current members of The American Legion and Sons of The American Legion who have been affected by declared natural disasters in Baker, LA, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to ensure that basic needs are met swiftly and compassionately, offering financial support for essentials such as shelter, utilities, food, clothing, and other necessary expenses that safeguard health and well-being in the aftermath of a disaster. We understand the urgency of these situations and are committed to helping our members recover and rebuild their lives during times of crisis. To apply for assistance, individuals can submit their applications by mail to our office in Baton Rouge, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
