In Arnaudville, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors with essential food assistance. Each month, we deliver nutritious food boxes designed to enhance health and well-being, while also providing valuable education on nutrition and budgeting effectively. Our comprehensive food boxes include items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, American cheese, pasta, milk, and more to help seniors maintain a balanced diet. Additionally, we empower our participants with informational resources, including easy-to-make recipes and guidance on caloric intake, ensuring they can stretch their food dollars while fostering healthy eating habits.
