MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Amite, LA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year, and to provide tailored weight management solutions catering to individual needs and preferences. Participants can choose from a variety of options, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which offers in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans needing additional support.
