Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

Located in Amite, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition and lifestyles for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years. Our mission is to ensure that families have access to essential resources such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, and support for breastfeeding, along with referrals to necessary healthcare services. By empowering women and nurturing young children, we aim to create a brighter, healthier future for our community.
