Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA)

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program in Wichita, KS, is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for patients aged 13 and older who are undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Our compassionate team works collaboratively to address the unique needs of these young patients, offering tailored clinical services that include expert nutrition planning, fertility counseling, and emotional support from skilled child life specialists and social workers. Recognizing the stressors of such challenging journeys, we value the voices of our patients and their families, using their feedback to continually enhance our program. As our patients transition into adult care beyond age 21, we ensure a seamless shift by partnering with adult Hematology/Oncology providers, always prioritizing patient-centered care and support.
